Our commitment

No-Friction Lab is committed to making its website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA across all pages of this site. Accessibility is not a box-ticking exercise for us — it sits at the core of what we do. Every audit we deliver includes an assessment of how accessible our clients' websites are, so it matters to us that our own site sets the right standard.

Scope of this statement

This statement applies to all pages on the No-Friction Lab website at www.nofrictionlab.co.uk, including:

  • Homepage
  • UX & CRO Audit services page
  • Ecommerce UX Audit page
  • SaaS UX Audit page
  • About page
  • Legal pages (Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions, Cookie Policy)

Third-party content embedded on this site — including the Fillout intake form — is provided by an external service and falls outside the scope of this statement. We have chosen a provider that takes accessibility seriously, but we cannot guarantee or control the accessibility of their embedded components.

What we have done

The following accessibility measures have been built into this site from the ground up:

  • Colour contrast: All text and interactive elements meet or exceed the WCAG 2.1 AA minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 against their backgrounds.
  • Semantic HTML: Pages are built using correct, ordered heading hierarchy (H1 → H2 → H3) and meaningful semantic elements throughout.
  • Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements — links, buttons, and navigation — are reachable and operable using a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator on every element.
  • Skip link: A "Skip to main content" link is available at the top of every page for keyboard and screen reader users.
  • ARIA labels: All interactive elements — including navigation, buttons, forms, and icon-only controls — have descriptive aria-label attributes where the visible label alone is insufficient.
  • Responsive design: All pages are fully responsive and usable at any viewport size, including when text is resized up to 200% without loss of content or function.
  • Reduced motion: Scroll-triggered animations are disabled for users who have requested reduced motion via their operating system settings.
  • Decorative images: All decorative images and SVG icons are marked with aria-hidden="true" so they are not announced by screen readers.
  • Language: The page language is declared as English (lang="en") on every page to support screen reader pronunciation.

Known limitations

We are committed to continuous improvement. The following limitation is currently known:

  • Embedded form (Fillout): The third-party intake form embedded on each page is provided by Fillout. While we have selected a provider with an accessible product, we cannot fully control or audit the accessibility of embedded third-party components. If you experience difficulty completing the form, please contact us directly at hello@nofrictionlab.com and we will assist you directly.

Technical standards

This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. WCAG 2.1 is developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and is the internationally recognised standard for web accessibility.

Browser and assistive technology compatibility

This site has been designed and tested to work with the following combinations:

  • Chrome + NVDA (Windows)
  • Safari + VoiceOver (macOS and iOS)
  • Chrome + TalkBack (Android)
  • Firefox + NVDA (Windows)
  • Keyboard-only navigation in all modern browsers
